About Us

Prances has a large camping fields, and a number of smaller 'Patrol Camping Areas'. It is located in Wickham Bishops in Essex, England. Prances is owned and maintained by Maldon and East Essex District Scout Council.

The site is staffed entirely by a volunteer work force.

We provide camping facilities, residential accommodation and adventurous activities to Scouts, Guides, Youth Clubs, Schools, Colleges, and any Youth Organisations.

On the following pages you will find plenty of information about visiting Prances, the activities we have, how to make a booking and the prices of the items you wish to book.
