Why would you join the Scouts?

If you do, you will have the opportunity to:

• Do adventurous activities like climbing, abseiling, water sports, camping and motor sports to name just a few.
• Get involved in music, drama, and all sorts of art and crafts
• You even get a chance to travel the world! We have been to Switzerland, Hungary and Germany in the past. In 2011 we will visit Iceland and plans are already in place for Slovenia in 2013 and Belgium in 2015.
• Make new friends.
• Learn new skills.

If you don't live in Silver End, if we have space you are welcome to join us. Click on the General Section and then membership enquiry or contact us via Skype through the contacts section. With over 60 members in the Scout Section, it proves we are doing what the young people in today's society want to do.

There are 28 million Scouts worldwide with over half a million in Britain alone and anyone can join - you could be one of them!
