FRIDAY 4th - MONDAY 7th MAY 2012

The Trip will be based in the Peak District.  For more information and to book a place please read on.

WE CAN NOT GO ABOVE 20 SCOUTS SO WILL BE STRICTLY 1ST COME 1ST SERVED. THIS IS INITIALLY FOR SCOUTS ONLY SO IF YOU WILL BE IN EXPLORERS, ENQUIRE ABOUT GOING ON A WAITING LIST.

HOW WILL WE GET THERE?
Transport will be a mix of minibus and Leaders’ cars according to numbers of Scouts.  We leave the Scout Hut on the Friday night and journey up to the Ashbourne Gateway Centre in the Peak District.. The journey will be between 4 and 5 hours depending on the length of time the stops we make.

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?
At the Gateway residential Centre in Ashbourne.  This is indoor accommodation that is for our sole use only. It has a number of room together with a kitchen, lounge and dining room.
Our accommodation limits us to 20 Scouts as the dorms are 11, 4 and 5 bed. So will be allocated to girls\boys depending on the response we get. For example if we get 14 boys reply first, they will have the 11 and 4 bedded room leaving only 5 beds for the girls.

WHAT WILL WE DO?
This is what we are planning to do during the camp. A detailed programme and menu of food will be issued to all those going on the trip nearer the time.
