Beaver Scouts are girls and boys usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between seven years and six months and eight years six months.

Beavers take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.  They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

Silver End Beavers has two Beaver colonies.

They meet on a Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6pm - 7.15pm.
